About Attorney Denise Tessier

Denise Tessier has been a lawyer for over 25 years, admitted in Massachusetts and Connecticut. For many years, Denise served diligently as in-house counsel for large multinationals, international and start-up operations, rising to General Counsel and Compliance Officer roles. She has extensive expertise in highly complex areas such as global insurance and corporate law, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Now residing in Lake Wales, Florida, she has enthusiastically transitioned her practice to passionately educate and serve her new community on how to protect their children, their families, their legacy and wealth. Her continuous goal is to achieve peace of mind for her clients, whether handling elder concerns or crafting solid estate plans.

Life Outside the Office

On a more personal note, Denise is happily married to a former British citizen, and enjoys international travel. She is an amateur painter and supports a wide range of museums, concerts, visual and performing arts. She enjoys pickleball, yoga, golf, and Brittany Spaniels, and volunteers as a Child Guardian Ad Litem for children in the foster care system.

About Attorney David Fall

David Fall began practicing law in Florida in 2013. He primarily practices estate planning, elder law, probate, trust administration, and Medicaid planning. He has a diverse legal background and has represented a wide variety of clients in state, federal, and tax court. He has helped clients achieve their business dreams by helping to create and manage business entities and has represented clients in various business transactions. He loves being able to use his legal knowledge to help people and their families by creating and implementing estate plans and other legal protections that help secure a brighter future for the next generation. Most of his legal background is in transactional work and he is also involved with litigious issues, which provides a holistic perspective to every matter. He focused most of his extensive legal education on resolving estate planning and taxation issues. 


Education and Associations

David received his Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2011. He received his Masters of Law degree (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2012 and his LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law from Western New England School of Law in 2016. He is an active member of many legal and community organizations, including the:


  • Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar Association
  • National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA)
  • Lakeland Bar Association (Board of Governors, 2024 – 2025) 


Life Outside the Office

Family is of the utmost importance to David. He has five siblings and three children, who are on the autism spectrum. When not working or spending time with his family, he loves reading and staying active, mentally and physically. The beach is his happy place.

About the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys

The Academy is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in estate planning by providing its exclusive membership of attorneys with up-to-date research on estate and tax planning, educational materials, and other important resources to empower them to provide superior estate planning services. The Academy expects members to have at least 36 hours of legal education each year specifically in estate, tax, probate and/or elder law subjects. To ensure this goal is met, the Academy provides over 40 hours of continuing legal education each year.
