Polk Pickle-Palooza is COMBINING FORCES with The American Pickleball Tour Winter Haven, February 23rd to the 25th in Winter Haven, FL to benefit The American Red Cross! Come have fun with your friends at the Advent Field House in Winter Haven for a weekend of hot competition and pickleball camaraderie. Perfect for experienced as well as first-time players, with play organized by bracket.

Please join us for the AFTER -PARTY at GROVE ROOTS BREWERY on Saturday, February 24th from 4 to 7 PM for a CHARITY RAFFLE in support of the American Red Cross Sound the Alarm! Campaign.  This smoke installation program prevention have save at least  2,030 home fires and lives here in Polk County, since the campaign launched back in 2014. Join us for raffles, silent auction items and more!


  • $10 Educate 1 child. This covers the cost to educate 1 student through Red Cross youth courses on disaster preparedness.



  • $20 provide 1 smoke alarm installation, covers the fire safety training and installation for one household.


  • $50 provide 3 smoke alarm, covers the fire safety training and installation for one household.


  • $48 provide 1 fire kit. Each kit contains basic supplies needed to search through the debris after a fire. The kit contains a sifter, shovel, rake, tote, dust mask, gloves, trash bags, hand wipes, and sanitizer, eye drops and a tarp. These supplies are stored and ready for distribution nationwide.


  • $250 provides installation of 1 smoke alarm for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. It covers the fire safety training and installation for one smoke alarm. These alarms work in conjunction with audible alarms to alert individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to the dangers of a home fire using multiple sensory stimuli, such as flashing lights, low frequency audio alerts and shaking or vibrations.
